Welcome to International Accreditation and Recognition Authority (IARA)

IARA follows a three-stage accreditation framework designed to ensure objectivity and transparency:

  1. Application & Documentation Review – Institutions submit their self-evaluation report and institutional profile.

  2. Assessment & Evaluation – IARA experts conduct desk and virtual evaluations, reviewing academic programs, governance, faculty, and infrastructure.

  3. Decision & Certification – Upon compliance with standards, institutions receive the IARA Certificate of Accreditation and a unique accreditation ID, renewable every three years.

Accredited institutions are listed in the IARA Global Directory, publicly verifiable through our online database.

International Accreditation and Recognition Authority Paymen

  • All fees, charges and other amounts payable to the International Accreditation and Recognition Authority (“IARA”) shall be remitted only to the designated bank account communicated in the relevant invoice, offer letter or fee note. Payments may be made by electronic bank transfer (including ACH transfer where available), by check deposit (if permitted for the payer’s jurisdiction), or by international wire transfer. The payer shall ensure that the full invoice number, institution name and any other reference requested by IARA are clearly mentioned in the payment details to enable accurate allocation of funds.
  • Where ACH or similar domestic electronic transfer facilities are available, fees may be settled by initiating a transfer to the bank account details provided by IARA. The payer shall input the beneficiary name exactly as stated in the invoice and verify the account details before confirming the transfer. All transaction charges, reversal fees and other bank-related costs imposed by the sending, intermediary or receiving institutions shall be borne by the payer, and the payment shall be treated as received only upon final credit of cleared funds to IARA’s designated account.
  • If check payments are accepted, all checks must be drawn in the currency specified in the invoice and made payable in favour of the beneficiary name indicated therein. Checks shall be sent to the correspondence address communicated by IARA, and any accreditation, membership or related services paid by check will be activated only after the instrument has been deposited and fully cleared. Any returned, dishonoured or stopped-check transactions will render the payer liable for bank charges and administrative costs, and IARA reserves the right to suspend or withhold services until such amounts are regularised.
  • For international payers, fees may be remitted via cross-border bank wire transfer to IARA’s designated account, using the beneficiary name, account number, bank identifier codes and other instructions supplied. The payer is responsible for selecting the appropriate charge option so that all correspondent, intermediary and local bank fees are borne by the payer, ensuring that the full invoiced amount is received without deduction. In the event of any shortfall due to bank charges or exchange rate differences, IARA may request an additional top-up payment before confirming or continuing the relevant accreditation, membership or service.

A self-regulated global body supporting academic excellence, recognition and quality benchmarking, a member of The Academic Accreditation Forum (AAF) and World Federation of Academic Quality (WAFQ).
